Making your Payment

My-Bathrooms.co.uk is the trading name of My-bathrooms Yorkshire.co.uk Ltd. As a user of this site you acknowledge that any transaction you make is subject to our terms and conditions below.Please: *read through these terms and conditions carefully before using this website. *print a copy for future reference. *also read our privacy policy section regarding your personal information. All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions. Following receipt of your order, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered.

Please note that this email is not an order acceptance from My-bathrooms Yorkshire.co.uk Ltd. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it. We accept all major credit/debit cards - except American Express. We also accept payment by Paypal and Bank transfers can be arranged if needed. The price for the goods will be as stipulated on the website at the time when you place your order. If due to an error or omission, the price published for the goods on our website is wrong, we will inform you of the correct price and give you an opportunity to either cancel, or proceed with the order at the correct price.

Shipping and Handling

Where we offer Free standard delivery on products with an order value over £300.00 + vat except some for our range of Tiles, this is for weekdays only and does not include weekends. Free standard delivery includes England, Wales and most of Scotland. Deliveries to the Highlands and Offshore addresses is available upon request. If the goods are returned as part of a cancellation of the sales contract. i.e. you have changed your mind, you will be responsible for the cost of, and safe return of, all items to us within 14 days from delivery. The Goods should be returned in their original packaging and in an unused and re-saleable condition.

Your order for goods is subject to availability. If we are not able to supply the goods to you for any reason after 28 days, we will on request reimburse you for those goods. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses, which you may suffer if we do not supply goods.

When our carriers deliver the goods, they will require you to sign for them. If neither you, nor your representative is able to receive the goods, our carrier will leave a card to advise that they will attempt the delivery again, or request you to contact them or visit their nearest depot to collect your order. If they are unable to deliver there may well be a re-delivery charge to attempt further deliveries. Should this situation arise, we will contact you to collect your payment, the couriers will not release the goods until we have confirmed that payment has been received.

Items are usually dispatched within 2 working days.We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated dispatch timescales, however, due to unforeseen complications outside of our control, this may not always be possible. We are under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products within estimated timescales caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.We will contact you as soon as we can to advise on any delays to orders and we will make every effort to help resolve the situation. 

 

In accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 all orders will be fulfilled within a maximum of 30 days or a full refund can be issued, unless a longer period has been agreed. If you have received an email from us confirming that your goods have been despatched, please let us know by replying to our email, if you have not received your order within 3 working days. Deliveries are usually made between 8 am and 6pm on weekdays. It is not possible to inquire about a delivery until the following day. Delivery is arranged on your behalf as a courtesy and forms no part of our contract to supply goods within a specified timescale.

Your Security and Credit Card Security

We value your security and as such have done our utmost to ensure that none of your personal information is at risk while you are visiting our site. Because of the threat to the security of your payment details, we will not retain your credit card details. If you select to use our secure server option, you will be transferred to the secure server prior to your payment details being requested. The secure server uses 128-bit encryption and as such, you can feel confident that your details cannot be intercepted by any third party at any point during the transaction. If you select to use our credit application facility, once again your details are only transferred via a 128-bit encrypted connection. Please note when placing your card details onto the secure server, please use your billing address.

Cancellations/Returns

Our returns and refunds policy is in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This regulation applies to all transactions within the UK where a consumer does not meet the seller. Contracts between businesses are not governed by these regulations. Business 2 business sales do not fall under this regulation, all B2B cancellation is at our discretion. Consumers have the option to change their mind and cancel any order at the time of placing it and 14 days starting from the day after delivery. Cancellations preferably made in writing or by email, if you require an official cancellations form please just ask. To help us process you must include your name, address and order reference number and the reason for the cancellation. Once you have cancelled the contract you have a legal "duty of care" to take good care of the goods and return them to us at your expense.In accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 we will refund to you the full amount paid for the goods within 14 days of receipt of the goods. We do not offer a collection service, all return postage charges will be the responsibility of the customer.We expect items to be inspected, but this must be reasonable and any unreasonable damage to the product or the packaging could be subject to a restocking fee. 

All disputes arising out of or in connection with the contract shall be governed by English law and the buyer accepts the jurisdiction of the Courts of England. In the unlikely event that you should feel the need to complain, we will try our best to reach a satisfactory resolution for you.

Receipt of goods

Please check goods thoroughly before signing to say that you have received them in good condition. The delivery driver may try to rush you. Just ignore them and make a simple check for transit damage. This is very important as a claim against the carriers can only be made if the damage has been notified to the driver Do not amend the signature sheet in any way. The carriers will not accept any subsequent claim for goods signed for as "unchecked." Please note if you declare that you have received your item in good condition, it is difficult to later claim that your goods were in fact damaged in transit. If you do receive goods which on inspection are unacceptably and substantially, damaged, refuse delivery of it. Do not sign for it and contact us immediately on 01765 694726, giving a clear reason for refusal. We can then arrange for replacement goods to be sent out to you as soon as we receive and inspect the returned goods. You will not be charged for return unless, following our inspection, the goods are found to be undamaged.


Special Orders

Special orders made to customers' specifications are excluded from the cancellation provisions of The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.However,in the event that a special order item is found to be faulty please contact us either by telephone,email or post.We may then offer you an exchange or a monetary refund dependant on the nature of the problem.Original delivery costs will be refunded only if the item is faulty,damaged in delivery or it differs in any way from the advertised goods.Returned parcels remain the responsibility of the customer until safely received by us.The Company does not pay "return" carriage unless an item is faulty,or it differs in any way from the advertised goods.

if we e-mail you in the future you will have the option to unsubscribe to future emails And we will not pass on your email address to other organisations unless you have given your consent. The information we collect about you, includes: your name, address, telephone number, email address, account details. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold is to the best of our ability accurate and based solely upon information we receive from you and it remains as up to date as it can be. You can check what information we hold about you, by writing to us. We will delete or correct any inaccuracies promptly. This information is held securely. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (european Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

If you do give us personal information, either by filling out an order form or using the contact form, then you can be assured that this information will only ever be used in the way that you specify. Any sensitive data that you might supply can be assured to be safe. It is at no point stored in any form of electronic retrieval system to which persons outside My-bathrooms Yorkshire.co.uk Ltd could gain access.

If your address exists in our mailing list database, every message you receive from it will contain a simple on-click removal facility, which results in immediate removal of that address from the database.
